I learned a critical solopreneur accelerator tactic from Andy Strohm (@AndrewStrohm) that will help you with #2, #3 and #7 below.

The list below shows the ingredients required for sustainable Solopreneur Digital Sales.

I’ve been sharing it as part of most of my emails lately because it helps you reset your mind on what’s needed to achieve time freedom as a solopreneur.

Do a quick skim of the list and continue reading what I learned from Andy.

  1. Defining your personal, unique intellectual property based on your experience, skillsets and personality
  2. Attracting your ideal followers
  3. Building long-term digital relationships
  4. Identifying your ideal followers’ specific challenges
  5. Writing copy and content that attracts your audience and adds them to your email list
  6. Building an email list and writing emails that provide value to your audience and encourages them to take action
  7. Selling services to solve your audiences specific challenges using your personal IP / solutions you’ve built
  8. Building/selling digital products that solve your audiences specific problems
  9. Setting up simple tech, systems & automation to create leverage

So back to what I learned:

Andy networks with people that have momentum, NOT a large audience.

I found that really interesting…it’s a nuance that most people probably don’t think about.

Yes, it’s important to follow and learn from the large established players on social media.

But, if you’re a new / early solopreneur, it makes more sense to find and meet people who are rapidly rising.

They’re:

  • onto something
  • motivated and challenging the status quo
  • creating a new identity and offering

Whereas the big boys are

  • established
  • in defense mode
  • fighting off challengers

Quick story:

A few years back, Andy told me he reached out to Dan Koe before he got big.

He set up a call with Dan and immediately knew this guy was going somewhere special.

Andy offered to provide a sales training course as part of one of Dan’s offerings.

Now, every time someone buys Dan’s course, they see Andy’s name as part of it and he gets inbound leads regularly as a result.

So lesson learned is:

Put yourself out there, network with folks that have momentum in your niche and help them out.

You never know what it could do for you in the future.

I hope this helps you!
