Microsoft GTM Services

Go from sporadic Microsoft referrals to a repeatable co-sell pipeline engine in 90 days

Your sellers already know how to close. They are just not getting at-bats from Microsoft. I install the system that gets Azure AEs, SSPs, and ATSs sourcing qualified pipeline into your firm, consistently.

$70M personally sold alongside Microsoft field teams. Now a productized playbook for Microsoft partner IT services firms.

My story

The system came from surviving the job first.

In 2018 I landed what felt like my dream role in enterprise sales at a top-5 Microsoft partner. Three weeks later, my only sales counterpart quit and the office P&L landed on me, a brand-new seller with no IT consulting background.

Cold calls flopped. Cold emails died in spam. So I stopped treating Microsoft like a logo on a slide and started treating Microsoft like the first client I had to win. That meant finding partner managers, learning ECIF, building cadence with Azure sellers, and figuring out what actually got reps to care.

Within 2 years Microsoft reps were creating pipeline for me. 9 years and $70M later, that motion is still the core of how I think about this work. I run it today as VP of Revenue & Growth at Echelix, and I use the same operating system with clients here.

Why work with me

If it does not move pipeline, it should not be in the plan.

  • Proven: $70M in services sold alongside Microsoft AEs, ATSs, and SSPs.
  • Insider network across Azure, App Innovation, Data and AI, Biz Apps, and Modern Work field teams.
  • Pipeline-first execution where every deliverable should move a meeting, opportunity, or win.

What you will see in 90 days

  • Named Microsoft AEs, SSPs, and ATSs actively sourcing qualified opportunities into your CRM.
  • Bigger deal sizes as your team gets sharper on ECIF, MACC, and solution-area funding motions.
  • A weekly cadence of Microsoft-sourced pipeline instead of a sales motion built on spray-and-pray outbound.

Co-Sell Buddy

The software layer behind the motion.

Co-Sell Buddy is the app tied to this work. I built it from the same consulting workflow: seller targeting, account heatmaps, campaign assignments, outreach prep, and daily follow-through.

  • Shared workspace for campaigns, recommendations, and execution
  • Grounded outreach built from real account, contact, and campaign context
  • One place to track the work after the meeting instead of losing it across tools

Why it matters

Better targeting, better outreach, less dropped follow-through.

Most teams already have some version of the motion in their heads. The problem is that the work gets split across spreadsheets, notes, stale account lists, and half-finished drafts.

Co-Sell Buddy gives that work one place to live so seller targeting, account signal, campaign assignments, and send-ready outreach are tied together.

Who this is for

  • Microsoft-aligned consulting firms, ISVs, and services leaders who already have a partner relationship but not a predictable co-sell motion.
  • Teams with delivery capability that need clearer offer positioning, stronger seller activation, and better follow-through.
  • Operators who want practitioner-led guidance and are willing to execute the outreach and enablement work.

Who this is not for

  • Anyone looking for guaranteed pipeline with no effort.
  • Teams chasing marketplace badges, listings, or theory instead of seller engagement.
  • Early-stage offers with no delivery motion or leaders unwilling to refine their messaging and approach.

Common objection

We do not have time to run one more program

This plugs into existing rhythms: weekly pipeline calls, current 1:1s with partner managers, and the outreach already happening. Expect roughly two hours of seller time each week.

Common objection

We have tried Microsoft alliances help before

Most support in the market is theory or certification prep. This is operator-run and tied directly to meetings, opportunities, and wins.

FAQs

Clear answers before you commit.

How quickly will we see pipeline?

Most clients see meaningful movement within 90 days, though teams with no prior Microsoft co-sell experience may need longer.

Who writes the LinkedIn posts?

Matt ghostwrites in your executive voice, your team approves, and all IP stays with the client.

Is Co-Sell Buddy included?

Yes. Each tier includes Pro seats, with additional seats available a la carte.

What if we already have an alliances manager?

Great. The work plugs into that person’s process with better assets, seller-facing communication, and pursuit support.

Do you work on commission or rev share?

No. This is a flat monthly fee so incentives stay clear and budgets stay predictable.

Can we pause or downgrade?

Yes. Plans are month to month with 30 days notice for changes.
