đź’µ build before you teach

Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | strip | default: “there” }},

I recently have made a slight adjustment to my business strategy and I wanted to share it with you because I think it will help you.

We all want Time Freedom, a digital business that runs on autopilot and to have leverage.

We don’t want to answer to crusty bosses, commute 2 hours a day and not be present with our families.

The challenge lies in **actually** building a sustainable business.

All too often we post content, attract followers and magically hope that business starts to appear for us.

It just doesn’t work that way.

As someone who’s forging a process, framework and accelerators for Solopreneurs to create their business, I’ve had to learn a ton.

And as a result, I’ve been able to get paid for those skills to help others.

Is it at the level of income that I expect or want? Not yet, but I know it takes time.

So what’s the solution?

It’s to actually build a business with the skills you know to deepen your experience.

It’s not enough to learn a skill over a year and then try to sell it to the next guy.

You don’t know enough yet.

So what I’m doing is I’m building my own solo business based on what I know well, applying all the great solopreneur learnings and skills I’ve learned.

….and as I’m going through this process, I’m creating assets that are going to help you do the same.

I don’t know enough yet to be a SME in building your one person business successfully, but I know just enough in each area to where I know I can build a successful solo business for myself.

And as I go through those ups and downs, as the rubber meets the road, the assets and services I can provide to you will be invaluable…because I’m quite literally living it.

As of right now, I’m in heavy outreach mode for the services I know well and can provide.

I’ve gotten some really good market feedback so far, to the tune of $2-4k/mo per client.

Stack 5-10 of those clients and that’s a nice onramp to my future and significant learnings for myself and you.

That’s where I am, how about you?

Tell me more about where you are in your journey - I reply to every email.

Play the decade game with me.

To your solopreneur success,

Matt Barron
