do you really know?

this will save you a lot of future headaches

At the surface, I know what aspiring solopreneur challenges are.

My mission is to solve these because they will create steady, predictable solopreneur income for you.

This gives you time and location freedom.

But beyond the surface, do I REALLY know what the detailed struggles are?

I don’t think I do yet, so I’m learning.

How about you? Do you know your audience’s detailed challenges?

The more generic your understanding of the problem, the more generic your solution will be.

Generic things are cheap.

The deeper you understand the problem, the more precise your solution.

Precise things are valuable.

For example, attracting an audience is a big problem but it’s not enough to post 2-3x a day and engage like a madman.

I learned from Dakota Robertson in a Space this week how he gained significant influence on X:

Interviewing top creators.

It would get him exposure and associate him with larger creators, which would then increase his clout and therefore, audience size.

The problem isn’t growing an audience.

The problem is that you’re not seen as part of an group of people on X that have heavy influence.

THAT’S the problem and he told me how to solve it.

That’s gold.

So I challenge you to get more detailed in your understanding of your audience’s problems.

That’s where the value is and when you provide uber-specific solutions, that’s when we see dollar signs.

Start here:

  1. Find a creator who you want a similar audience to
  2. Pro tip 1: search their timeline to see if they’ve asked their audience what their problems and write those problems down
  3. Engage with those who are engaging with that creator
  4. Ask if they’d be willing to get on a call to get introduced
  5. Set up a call, learn about eachother and ask them what their struggles are in relation to their goals
  6. Pro Tip 2: set up XPro searches for the problems identified in Step 2. This will help you find folks on X talking about problems you want to solve (this is your net new client funnel). To see how to do it, check out my course here: https://mattbarron.gumroad.com/l/noeue
  7. Pro Tip 3: steal my ChatGPT prompt to further refine your audience’s challenges: https://chat.openai.com/share/1dd7a641-1af9-4380-ac9f-b5ba6193cbb9
  8. Now that you have a more granular view of those problems, write your content around those problems and work to solve them with your services and products.

Keep Selling to Freedom.
