how I'm overcoming my previous non-committal self

Read Time: 5m

Over the years, I’ve starting things…building websites, building courses, buying and selling physical products, stock market trading….the list goes ON AND ON.

…but here’s the thing, I’ve never dumped my heart and soul consistently into any of these over a long period of time.

I gave up too early or wasn’t committed enough to any of them.

Hell, at one point I genuinely believed I could’ve been a NFL kicker. I was always the kid with the strongest leg on our soccer team. Your boy actually kicked the 3rd longest FG in Texas HS history back in the day (that record has been shattered…have you seen what high school kids look like now? They’re monsters…)

But…I gave up on it.

I didn’t train enough.

I didn’t see it through.

Other than my 9-5 and being a present husband & dad, I’ve not seen my “life goals” through as much as I should have.

But this time it’s different.

I’ve found my intersection of talent, passion and have a few clients.

I attribute it to a strong “why”.

I want Time Freedom. More time with my wife and kids. They need it. It’s impossible to give them the support they need while working full-time in corporate America.

With remote work, the corporate world has taken over many lives.

While the flexibility is amazing, it also allows for companies to blur the lines between work and family time.

That sucks.

So I’m on a mission to build a solo business helping other accelerate the time to their first digital dollar.

To achieve it, there’s a thousand things to do, but I make sure to isolate the most important tasks first.

ESPECIALLY because, like you, I still have a 9-5…my time is extremely limited.

So I created a playbook for my daily activities:

and I’ve also identified my needle moving tasks here:

Finally, here’s how I’m tracking my goals:

Will I meet all of these goals?

Probably not.

Will I meet some of them - I believe so.

With focus comes action and with action comes results.

So if you’re a perennial starter but not a finisher (like I was) but you want to generate solopreneur income in 2024, reply GOALS to this email to start a conversation with me about how we can make sure you remain committed as a solopreneur in 2024.

Cheers to Accelerating your Solopreneur Sales!
