the #1 solopreneur sales killer
A simple change (that requires zero talent and little effort) will help you generate service sales as a solopreneur.
In B2B tech sales (my 9-5), it’s led to over 20% ($8-9M) of my sales over my 6 year tech sales career.
As a solopreneur, it’s helped me ink several service engagements (email marketing, consulting, etc.).
The common problem I’ve observed in both the 9-5 and solopreneurs is:
Lack of confidence
When you don’t have it, you over-analyze, spend too much time and ultimately lose the interest of the buyer.
….and you wonder why they don’t get back with you.
So what can you do?
Respond quickly with confidence.
This signals to your potential client that this is something you do often (even if you don’t).
You MUST realize short response times are your buyers’ expectations whether you like it or not.
Now that DOESN’T mean that you have to stay up all night crafting and answering emails, IMs etc.
But you have to build out your offer, processes and templates…so you have them for the ready, when you have a fish on the line.
And perhaps do my favorite, which is to build in automation.
One of the best ways you can respond is to ask a question to better understand their challenge at a deeper level.
If you’re having challenges converting leads to clients, reply to this email and I’ll help you diagnose the issue.
