đź’µ don't put the work back on your prospects

Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | strip | default: “there” }},

Don’t put the work on others.

Here’s an example of what I see many solopreneurs do:

  1. write basic content for engagement farming
  2. build an audience to 1-3k
  3. ask their audience what they want
  4. get limited feedback
  5. account goes dark

To avoid this, I recommend you have a point of view, related to a business idea.

For example, I believe you can create an semi-automated solo business while having a 9-5.

It requires proficiency in roughly 7 skillsets that can be attained or provided by others.

When combined, you can generate consistent, monthly, leveraged income.

So I write content about that.

And the people who enjoy that, believe in that, they follow and engage with my content.

I email with them and get on calls with them.

They give me ideas for solutions that I’m packaging up into The Solopreneur Copilot program.

See how that’s different than posting engagement bait and then suddenly flipping around and saying “Ok now that you guys are all blindly following me, what can I help you with?!?!”

You feel taken advantage of a bit and view that person as a sellout.

You don’t want that do you?

So have a hunch.

Validate the challenge and your offer.

Then go deliver it and make some moolah.

You should have a hunch. But it’s always better to confirm. Validate your offer and the problem it solves with your audience. Will save you a ton of time!

I’m looking for long-term mindset, 9-5 professionals or folks who have had some level of business experience, who want to band together to build your sustainable solo business.

I’ll share the things I’ve learned and you’ll do the same with the others in the group.

To your solopreneur success,

Matt Barron
