💵 keep it simple, stupid

I started writing the ChatGPT prompt to help me build a mobile application.

Then I realized that having a mobile application is no differentiator and there’s plenty of other providers that have a platform I could use.

Another stark reminder for me and you that we have to keep things simple:

1. Focus on revenue generating activities.
2. Plan for scale.
3. Slowly make that a reality.

How?

1. Generate attention and conversations through targeted outbound activities (specific content, tailored DMs, intentional calls, emails)
2. Test the market for your services (“I’m thinking about offering x,y,z….what do you think?” “Is this something you’d pay for?”)
3. Land your first client.
4. Find commonality between those clients and figure out how to productize certain aspects.

Fairly simple, but not easy.

Especially if you have a 9-5 and kiddos…time is precious.
