Consume, consume, consume.
“You deserve it!”
That’s my favorite lie fed to you by companies in their marketing so your eyeballs stay glued to their screens so they can charge more for ads.
So let’s ponder:
DO you….deserve it?
Do you ACTUALLY need a break?
And probably most important: will you ACTUALLY take a break or will you just start at your phone?
If any of these are true, please unplug and recharge, but I’d imagine most of the time they aren’t.
Now, don’t work so hard that you ruin your marriage, relationships and your health. That goes without saying.
But look, if you’re going to 9-5 it, mindlessly scroll IG for 5 hours and drink whiskey…do you think you’ll ever get Time Freedom?
No chance.
Breaks are important but we’ve conditioned ourselves that we deserve them when we don’t and plus when we take “breaks” we don’t actually relax.
This is an important reminder to actually relax when you need it but otherwise CREATE!
Talk to others you meet on X.
Send more emails.
Post more content.
Learn from others and up your skills.
